CSSPrimitiveValue.getRGBColorValue()

The getRGBColorValue() method of the CSSPrimitiveValue interface is used to get an RGB color value. If this CSS value doesn't contain a RGB color value, a DOMException is raised. Modification to the corresponding style property can be achieved using the RGBColor interface.

Syntax

var rgbColorValue = cssPrimitiveValue.getRGBColorValue();

Return value

An RGBColor object representing the color value.

Exceptions

Type Description
DOMException An INVALID_ACCESS_ERR is raised if the attached property can't return an RGB color value (i.e. this is not CSS_RGBCOLOR).
