The HTMLLIElement interface exposes specific properties and methods (beyond those defined by regular HTMLElement interface it also has available to it by inheritance) for manipulating list elements.

HTMLLIElement.type- Is a
DOMStringrepresenting the type of the bullets,"disc","square"or"circle". As the standard way of defining the list type is via the CSSlist-style-typeproperty, use the CSSOM methods to set it via a script. HTMLLIElement.value- Is a
longindicating the ordinal position of the list element inside a given<ol>. It reflects thevalueattribute of the HTML<li>element, and can be smaller than0. If the<li>element is not a child of an<ol>element, the property has no meaning.
