URL.protocol

The protocol property of the URL interface is a USVString representing the protocol scheme of the URL, including the final ':'.

Note: This feature is available in Web Workers.

Syntax

const protocol = url.protocol
url.protocol = newProtocol

Value

A USVString.

console.log(url.protocol); // Logs "https:"
